The following contest is a submission match... to win, you must make your opponent tap out! Making his way to the ring... from Stockholm, Sweden, weighing in at two hundred and ninety pounds... Thor... Jørgensen!

God of Thunder blared through the arena. All of the sudden, EWF's God of Thunder emerged from backstage, clouded by smoke. He slowly stepped closer towards the ramp, then his arm shot up in the air. A shower of golden sparks rained down behind him. He began to walk down the ramp, where more smoke gathered around his feet. He walked up the steel steps then to the middle of the ring apron. He grabbed the top rope then gazed over the crowd, grinning. Cheers exploded through the arena, almost drowning out his music. Thor stepped over the top rope, then climbed up a turnbuckle. He beat his chest, then raised his traditional Norse viking helmet in the air. He jumped off, then handed his fur coat and helmet to the referee to set aside as more golden sparks jetted upward from the ring posts. He paced the ring, waiting for Austin to enter.

And his opponent... from St. Louis, Missouri, weighing in at one hundred and sixty pounds... he is one half of the Tag Team Champions... Austin... Cross!

Austin Cross walked down the ramp, high fiving the outstretched hands of the audience. The crowd erupted in cheers upon seeing their favorite wrestler. Once he passed the ramp, he slid into the ring. He climbed up the turnbuckle and raised his newly won title, then backflipped off. He paced the ring, staring down his competition.

The ref called for the bell.
Ding ding ding!

Thor wasted no time, quickly raining down punches and chops on Austin, then hit a thundering (no pun intended) scoop slam. He quickly locked Austin in the sharpshooter. Austin struggled, flailing his arm wildly in pain. He struggled towards the ropes, and barely managed to grab the bottom one. The ref began to count, but Thor held in the submission up to 4. Finally, he broke up the hold. They both stood up, and Thor turned around only to be knocked down again with a Pele Kick.
Austin slammed Thor's arm into the ground, then stomped on it, obviously softening it up for his finisher, the Cross Armbreaker. He then kneeled down and twisted Thor's arm over his head, then bent his fingers back for a wrist lock. Thor struggled, but slowly managed to stand up and begin raining down double axe handles into Austin's gut. Finally, he broke up the hold, and Thor locked him in a tight headlock. He then lifted Austin's arm over his shoulder and lifted him up then fell backwards for a back suplex. He fell to the ground with Austin, then rolled over and locked him in a camel clutch. Thor also appeared to be preparing for his submission finisher, the Torture Rack, by working on Austin's legs and head.

Shane McMahon: Austin's definitely working on that arm there, but he's got another thing coming with this guy.

Austin finally managed to stand up. He fell backwards, driving all 160 pounds of him into Thor and onto the mat. He went for another wrist lock, but Thor managed to get out of it and send Austin crashing into the ground with an arm drag. He climbed up the turnbuckle and looked behind him to make sure Austin was still down, then flipped back for a moonsault. He hit it, then rolled over and hooked both Austin's ankles in his knee then pulled against his head for a cross-legged STF.

Jim Ross: Oh my god! This has to be over! How is Austin gonna break out of this one?

He had the hold locked in tight. Austin almost tapped out; he slapped the ground two times. However, you needed to do it three times to officially tap. After at least 5 minutes of struggling in the hold, Austin yanked the rope. Again, Thor kept the hold locked in up to 4, but after that he broke it up then lifted Austin off the ground. He then locked Austin in a tight abdominal stretch, nearly pulling his arm out of his socket. He held it in for a minute or so, then transitioned the hold into his signature move, the pumphandle slam.
The crowd cheered as Thor taunted Austin by beating his chest and raising his arms, displaying his utter dominance in the match. However, as soon as Thor turned around, Austin kicked him in the gut and stood over his arm, about to go for his finishing Cross Armbreaker. Thor quickly saw what Austin was doing, and before he flipped over, he pulled Austin over his shoulders for a Torture Rack, pulling down on Austin's head and leg in an unbelievably painful way.

Jim Ross: Oh my god! He's definitely gonna tap now! I can't believe that, Thor just reversed Austin's finisher into his own finisher!
Shane McMahon: This one's over for sure.

Finally, Austin couldn't bear the pain any more. He repeatedly slapped his hand against Thor's chest, and the ref called for the bell.

Ding ding ding!
