Sheamus vs. Thor Jørgensen

Making his way to the ring... from Dublin, Ireland, weighing in at two hundred and seventy-two pounds... Sheamus!


Sheamus emerged from backstage, walking down the ramp. He stopped at the bottom of the ramp and raised his arms, then continued towards the ring. He gaze at the heavily booing crowd as he climbed up the steel steps and paused on the ring apron for a moment, then slipped through the second rope. He stood in the middle of the ring and beat his chest, then waited for the CEO of EWF to enter.

God of Thunder blared through the arena. All of the sudden, EWF's own God of Thunder emerged from backstage, clouded by smoke. He slowly stepped closer towards the ramp, then his arm shot up in the air. A shower of golden sparks rained down behind him. He began to walk down the ramp, where more smoke gathered around his feet. He walked up the steel steps then to the middle of the ring apron. He grabbed the top rope then gazed over the crowd, grinning. Cheers exploded through the arena, almost drowning out his music. Thor stepped over the top rope, then climbed up a turnbuckle. He beat his chest, then raised his traditional Norse viking helmet in the air. He jumped off, then handed his fur coat and helmet to the referee to set aside as more golden sparks jetted upward from the ring posts.

The ref called for the bell.
Ding ding ding!

Thor and Sheamus quickly locked up. Thor managed to take the upper hand. He hit Sheamus with an elbow to the head then grabbed him by the waist. He locked Sheamus in a full nelson, then used the hold to propel him in the air then slam him back into the ground. Thor wasted no time, immediately pinning his opponent.

1... kickout!

Thor stood back up, then taunted as he lifted Sheamus up with him. Thor went to grab him, but Sheamus pulled away then hit a discus double axe handle. As Thor bent over, Sheamus saw his change. He rebounded off the ropes, then ran into Thor and hit a clothesline, sending the Viking crashing to the ground. Sheamus rolled Thor over on his back, then locked in a camel clutch. Thor struggled, attempting to crawl towards the ropes and break up the hold at the same time. He desperately crawled, and finally managed to get a hold of the bottom rope with his foot. Sheamus held the hold in until four, then let go to avoid disqualification. Sheamus turned towards the crowd and beat his chest as Thor got up. Thor saw Sheamus, not paying attention, and quickly ran up to Sheamus, hooked his leg, then hit a Russian legsweep. He climbed up the top rope, then jumped down for a headbutt. Sheamus quickly rolled out of the way, sending Thor crashing head-first into the mat. All of the sudden, Sheamus had an idea. He repeatedly dropped his knee right to Thor's skull until the referee eventually pulled him away. He lifted Thor up, then wrapped his hand around his neck. He choked Thor for a few seconds, then lifted him up, chokeslamming him right onto his outstretched knee.
He went for a pin.

1... 2... kickout!

Sheamus rolled Thor over, then locked him in another camel clutch. He put much more pressure on than before, and made sure to pull Thor away from the ropes. As the time passed, Sheamus locked into the hold tighter, and transitioned it into a vice-grip type move. Thor coughed, eyes half closed. He began to cough up blood, then his eyes closed. Thor lay limp on the ground. The referee ran to Thor's aid, to make sure he was okay. He quickly called for the bell as medics rushed in to come to Thor's aid.

Sheamus grinned sadistically, then climbed up to the top rope and beat his chest, then raised his arms. The crowd's booing drowned out Sheamus' entrance music playing victoriously. Sheamus exited the ring as the medics followed close behind, carrying Thor up the ramp in a stretcher.
