God of Thunder blared through the arena. All of the sudden, EWF's own God of Thunder emerged from backstage, clouded by smoke. He slowly stepped closer towards the ramp, then his arm shot up in the air. A shower of golden sparks rained down behind him. He began to walk down the ramp, where more smoke gathered around his feet. He walked up the steel steps then to the middle of the ring apron. He grabbed the top rope then gazed over the crowd, grinning. Cheers exploded through the arena, almost drowning out his music. Thor stepped over the top rope, then climbed up a turnbuckle. He beat his chest, then raised his traditional Norse viking helmet in the air. He jumped off, then handed his fur coat and helmet to the referee to set aside as more golden sparks jetted upward from the ring posts. He paced the ring, waiting for Mike to enter.

God of Thunder blared across the speakers and the crowd became confused.
Mike Quackenbush came out in a suit and started prancing around. Mike then pulled out a wallet and started throwing money into the crowd and then pulled out 100 dollars and gave it to a nearby kid.
Mike grabbed a mic and made his way into the ring, staring at Thor angrily.
"Thor, the reason I requested this match with you is simple. I requested this match because of how you treat us in the back. You abuse your power over us and make us do all kinds of stuff. I am here to destroy you and hopefully end your reign of tyranny on the locker room. When you lay here in the middle of the ring, motionless, during our match, I will take the opportunity and lock you in the Chikara Special. With you unable to escape, you will have no choice but to tap. If you try and use your power or move, you could break your neck... and you know I don't want that. So, when I get you in the Chikara Special, you will either tap or risk permanent injuries. Oh, and by the way, that wallet was yours."
Mike Quackenbush handed the wallet to Thor then went to his corner, waiting for the bell to ring.

Mike Quackenbush was already up. He saw a weakened Thor on his knee. Mike used the opportunity to start hitting low roundhouse kicks to Thor's body. Mike stopped throwing kicks then climbed into the ring and went for a top con giro on Thor.

After a while, they both started to struggle to their feet then start brawling. Thor got the upper hand, but Mike hit a gut kick then pulled Thor's head between his legs and went for a tiger driver.

Mike goes for a tiger driver, but Thor reverses it into a back body drop. Mike landed right on the barricade. Thor lifted him up and threw him back into the ring, then climbed the top rope. He jumped off and hit a headbutt, then went for the pin.

Thor started to pick up Mike Quackenbush, but all of the sudden Mike started throwing punch after punch on Thor. He climbed onto the apron then jumped off and went for a hurricanrana on Thor.

1... 2...
Thor managed to kick out just before three and send Mike flying across the ring. He stomped on Mike, then lifted him back up and hit a Russian legsweep. He climbed the turnbuckle then backflipped for a moonsault...

The moonsault hits and Thor goes for the cover, but all of a sudden Mike hits a roll up powerbomb then goes to lock in the Chikara Special on Thor who is in the middle of the ring.

Mike successfully locked in the Chikara Special. Thor struggled, clutching his fist in pain. He desperately attempted to crawl towards the ropes, when all of the sudden Austin Cross came running out. He dropkicked Mike in the face, breaking up the hold. The ref quickly called for the bell due to the interference. Ding ding ding!
Austin grabbed a microphone. "That's no way to treat your boss!"

Mike hit Austin with a Quackendriver II, dropping him right on the steel ramp. Thor quickly jumped out of the ring, and Mike turned around to meet with Thor's fist. Mike bent over and Thor quickly flipped over, driving Mike's head right into the unprotected steel ramp with a Swedish Destroyer. He helped Austin up, then slowly backed up the ramp, staring at an unconscious Mike Quackenbush.

Mike Quackenbush started to stir after Thor left the arena. He finally got up and grabbed a mic.
"So Thor, you can't beat me or anyone else without having your little buddy help you. That's an act of a coward, and I am now challenging you and Austin for a match at next week's Mayhem. Oh, and It will be a 60-minute ultimate submission match... if you don't accept, then it will prove what a coward you are. But if you and Austin accept, you will finally get to prove yourselves worthy of even being in this company. And I don't want that match which has so many risks to just be a match that won't have any rewards. How about the winner gets a shot for the EWF Championship, or maybe another championship?"

All of the sudden, Thor appeared on the titanTRON. He was in his office.
"Listen Mike, you can't just go out there and challenge people to matches and ask for title shots. I'm the boss here, I make the descisions. I'll tell you what: I'm busy next week, but you can still have that match. I will put you and Austin Cross in a 60-minute ultimate submission match to determine the #1 contender for the International Championship, which Christian Cage will defend against the winner at Warzone."
