Subject: The Rock vs. Sheamus Tue Aug 30, 2011 6:24 pm
Since both were already in the ring and the bell had been rung, Sheamus didn't hesitate to attack the already grounded and weak Rock. He hit multiple knee drops to The Rock's head, then rolled over and locked him into a fujiwara armbar. The Rock was numb, so he let Sheamus hold the move for a moment, until the pain finally got to him. Since Sheamus expected him to tap out easily, he didn't realize how close he was to the rope, with Rock grabbed. He let go of the hold just barely before 5, then picked him up. Sheamus quickly began to dominate Rock, hitting him with a clothesline, then a shoulder block, then a fallaway slam. He picked the Rock up one last time and hit an Irish Curse Backbreaker. Just as Rock began to fall over, Sheamus lifted him over his shoulders and hit a high cross, quickly proceeding to pin him.
1... 2... 3!
Ding ding ding! Here's your winner, and the new EWF Champion... Sheamus!
The crowd had never booed more. They made harsh chants, middle fingers pointed in the air. Sheamus grabbed the title from the ref and held it up, grinning at the less than enthusiastic crowd. All of the sudden, Sheamus grabbed a microphone. The crowd barely quieted down, just to hear what he had to say.
"Well, it was nice working here and all, but I quit."
Everyone was shocked; backstage, watching on TV at home, in the audience as Sheamus walked up the ramp and left with the EWF Championship. The ref catered to the Rock as everyone wondered what would become of EWF and its main championship.
