Subject: Sting vs. Lance Cade Tue Aug 16, 2011 11:08 am
The following contest is a no-disqualification match for the Television Championship! Making his way to the ring... from Venice Beach, California, weighing in at two hundred and fifty pounds... he is the Television Champion... Sting!
Sting made his way down the ramp, pointing at his fans. The Television Championship was draped over his shoulder. He climbed into the ring and his music changed to that of Lance Cade.
And the opponent... from San Antonio, Texas, weighing in at two hundred and sixty-seven pounds... Lance... Cade!
Lance Cade made his way down the ramp, alone. He climbed into the ring then up to the top rope and posed, then jumped down and turned towards Sting.
The ref called for the bell. Ding ding ding!
Lance and Sting stared eachother down. They locked into a collar and elbow, fighting back and forth. Finally, Sting took over and transitioned into a headlock. He draped Cade's arm over his shoulder, then quickly fell back for a snap suplex. Sting climbed up to the top rope and went for a splash, but Lance lifted his knees just in time, knocking the wind out of Sting. He rolled over for a pin.
1... 2... kickout!
Lance Cade, frustrated, rolled out of the ring. He pulled out a table, then slipped it in as he re-entered the ring. Lance propped it up against the turnbuckle as Sting lay on the ground. He lifted up Sting, then superkicked him in the jaw, sending him to the ground again. He lifted Sting back up, then went to irish whip him into the table. Sting reversed with an irish whip of his own. He then ran towards Lance, hitting him with a Stinger Splash that sent him clean through the table. Lance fell down, and Sting twisted his legs for a Scorpion Deathlock. Lance struggled not to tap. All of the sudden, Brian Hawkins came running in. He ran into the ring, and just as Lance began to tap, he broke up the hold. Sting stood back up and went for a spinebuster on Brian, but he reversed it into a Codebreaker. He quickly slipped out of the ring and ran back up the ramp as Lance saw the opportunity and pinned Sting.
1... 2... 3!
Here's your winner, and the new Television Champion... Lance... Cade!
Lance Cade, without hesitation, grabbed the belt from the referee. He climbed up the turnbuckle and held it in the air as high as he possibly could. The crowd exploded, practically booing Cade out of the arena. Sting, frustrated, stood up. He grabbed Lance Cade and tossed him off the turnbuckle, then stomped on him repeatedly before exiting the ring.
